The surface troughs on the island will maintain a breeze throughout the week, the sea breeze during the day will cause some showers, cloud accumulation will appear inside the island, and the land breeze at night will reduce the cloud cover and limit the showers to areas near the coast. On Thursday and Friday, light to moderate trade winds returned with a few showers on the windward slope. It is expected that trade winds will increase from the weekend to the beginning of next week.

Currently on the surface, a 1008 mb valley is located 850 miles north-northeast of Honolulu, with a towing trough extending southward through the Kevey Strait between Oahu and Molokai. This kept the breeze in the whole state this morning, with land breeze in most areas. Infrared satellite images show that a mixture of high clouds and low clouds results in partially to mostly cloudy conditions, with the largest cloud cover near the surface trough. Radar images showed scattered showers mainly in the coastal waters near the surface troughs, and a few showers briefly affected the areas immediately adjacent to the coast. The main short-term focus in the coming days will be around rainfall opportunities. For the next few days, the trough of low pressure will hardly move, and will linger over the central island today, then move to the eastern end of the state tonight and Wednesday, and then be washed away on Wednesday night. This will keep the entire island in a breeze, with sea breeze during the day and land breeze at night in many areas. From Thursday to Friday, as the ridges in the northern part of the island strengthen, light to moderate trade winds appear to recover, and on Saturday they may weaken slightly as the front passes through the northern part of the state. With the establishment of a new high to the north of the island chain, it is expected that from Sunday to early next week, the transaction volume will rebound to a relaxed level. As for the rest of the weather details, as of Wednesday, the overall weather pattern has not changed much. It is expected that there will be cloud accumulation and internal showers every afternoon, and then the night will be less cloudy. The showers are mainly concentrated in coastal waters and coastal areas. With the return of trade winds on Wednesday night, we should see showers beginning to benefit the windward slopes and coast. The trade wind weather from Thursday to early next week is expected to be drier than normal. If some deeper moisture enters from the east, shower coverage on Sunday and next Monday may increase.

An upper trough of low pressure in northwestern Kauai will slowly move eastward and gradually weaken over the next 24 hours. A weak surface trough near Maui County will continue to be the focus of shower activity. The weak easterly wind on the surface will bring additional light showers near the Pacific Ocean. The high-altitude southwest air will guide the middle stratiform cloud belt through the state. The upper trough close to the morning may generate moderate upper turbulence in the western third of the state. As the upper trough weakens, the general trend for the next day or so will move towards more stable weather conditions. However, the low-altitude trough will continue into the middle of the week, disrupting the normal flow of trade winds and becoming the continuous focus of the development of showers.

When we enter the middle of the week, the trough of the central waters will linger and weaken. It is expected that the breeze pattern will continue to exist, with the overall background air current coming from the east-southeast. The surface ridge built in the northern part of the area on Thursday will bring mild to locally mild easterly trade winds to the area this weekend. No small crafts consultation is expected this week. The current short-term northwestern expansion will continue to decrease today. The rest of the week and weekends, as short-term north and northwest swells pass through the area, surfing will remain at a smaller level. The scale of surfing towards the east coast will remain small, and some north surges are expected along the exposed area. As the trade winds' upper and lower winds gradually increase in the state, short-term choppy waves will increase later this week and weekends.
